Processing fee of Rs. 6500.00/- for patients residing in India and $150.00 for international patients is due at the time the reports are uploaded for review. If you are Below Poverty Line, please email a copy of your BPL card to navya@navya.care, and your processing fee may be waived.

In case you’re unsure of the reports you need to send, please submit what is available and a patient advocate will reach out to you should further information be needed. At this time, you may also be asked other relevant information such as patient preferences if any (such as Organ Conserving Surgery vs. More extensive surgery), ability to withstand treatment, i.e. functional and performance status (ECOG), affordability of expensive targeted therapies such as Trastuzumab, Cetuximab etc.

Please be sure to list all of your questions for the experts. Please respond promptly to all requests for information and provide accurate information because the quality of the Expert Opinion is solely dependent on completeness of patient's information.

Experts respond to the specific questions by the patients and provide treatment recommendations as well as suggest further diagnostic tests or clinical examinations.

Navya empowers patients with evidence and expertise on the decision point in question. If there are follow-up questions or requests for clarifications on the expert opinion,, Navya will address them without an additional fee. However, if the treatment new information is provided or the decision point changes or the questions or clarifications require new opinions from the experts, the case will need to be processed as a new case with processing fees. This is because the processing fee is used to cover the direct costs in collecting medical information, accessing our evidence and experience based systems, coordinating an expert opinion online, and writing a personalized expert opinion report. When these steps are necessary, a processing fee is requested such as a new decision point when:

  • New information is provided on the patient’s case after the expert opinion report from Navya was made available, and this information needs to be sent to experts for an opinion
  • After the expert opinion report has been made available, the patient has undergone therapy (for example surgery, chemotherapy or radiation therapy) and further advice is sought for the next course of action
  • The patient has undergone additional tests after the expert opinion report was made available by Navya, and wishes for that information to be shared with the experts for additional remarks or opinions

A patient advocate will guide you throughout the process and suitably advise you if you are unsure whether a particular test report is necessary or not. If a test has been done and you need guidance on whether to wait for its results or proceed with the information at hand, then the patient advocate will make a recommendation based on the test and its criticality to the case. It is completely your choice on when to have the case sent to the expert panel.
